AI agents for construction that work the job file, not the job site
Six narrow agents for commercial GCs and specialty subs. Each one owns a single document trail, from ITBs to certified payroll, works inside your Procore, ACC and accounting data, and hands its output to a named person for approval.
- One agent per document trail, each with a named approver
- Reads contracts, specs and logs before it drafts
- Stops and asks when a form, date or amount does not match
Why a general chatbot does not help a GC
It does not know your contract
Retainage rates, notice windows and COI requirements live in each prime contract and subcontract. An assistant that has not read them gives answers that sound right and are wrong.
It cannot see the logs
The useful question is not what an RFI is. It is which RFIs on the hospital job have sat with the engineer for more than ten days, and that lives in Procore or ACC.
It cannot be held to a step
Project work needs a clear owner for each action. An agent with a narrow job, known inputs and a human approver can be checked. An open-ended assistant cannot.
The construction agent roster
Each agent is custom code on the major model APIs, connected to tools like Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud and BuildingConnected through their official APIs, and to Sage 300 CRE, Foundation or Viewpoint Vista through exports where those are closed.
ITB triage agent
Reads every invitation to bid, pulls trades, bid date, bonding and prevailing wage terms, scores fit against your win history and queues it for the chief estimator.
Scope leveling agent
Breaks sub quotes into spec-section line items, lines up exclusions and alternates, and lists the gaps an estimator needs to plug or call about.
RFI ball-in-court agent
Watches every open RFI, knows who holds it and for how long, and sends reminders that name the drawing and the activity it is holding up.
PCO capture agent
Spots extra-work language in daily logs, T&M tickets and RFI answers, opens a PCO with backup and keeps it moving until the owner signs.
Draw readiness agent
Before each pay app goes out, checks the G703 against approved COs, confirms each sub's waiver and COI are current, and lists what is missing.
Certified payroll check agent
On federal and prevailing wage jobs, confirms each sub's weekly certified payroll arrived and that worker classifications appear to match the wage determination on file.

Sub invoice matching
Invoices checked against commitments before they post.
An agent for your own process
Closeout, warranty or equipment tracking built to order.
The full construction plan
Every workflow we automate for GCs and subs.
Guardrails built for project risk
Each agent has one approver
The chief estimator owns the bid agents, the PM owns RFIs and PCOs, and the project accountant owns the draw. Accountability does not blur.
It flags, it does not certify
No agent signs a pay app, releases a waiver, sends a change order or files payroll. Those steps belong to people with authority to bind the company.
Compliance calls stay human
Davis-Bacon classifications, state waiver forms and notice deadlines are checked against what your compliance lead and counsel set, never decided by the agent.
Every action is logged in your accounts
Each draft, reminder and flag is recorded with its source, in systems your company owns, and we review agent accuracy with you every month.

Common questions
What are AI agents for construction?
They are narrow software workers that each own one document trail, like RFIs, PCOs or draw readiness. They read your project data, draft the next step and hand it to a named person to approve.
Can the draw readiness agent stop a pay app from going out?
It lists what is missing, such as a sub's conditional waiver or an expired COI, and marks the draw not ready. Your project accountant decides whether to submit anyway.
Does the certified payroll agent prepare our WH-347s?
No. It checks that each sub's weekly certified payroll has arrived and compares classifications and rates to the wage determination you load. Your payroll or compliance lead reviews and signs.
Will the PCO agent price change orders?
No. It assembles the backup, such as T&M tickets, photos and the related RFI, and tracks status. The PM prices it and decides when it goes to the owner.
Do the agents work across Procore and Sage 300 CRE together?
Yes. They read Procore through its official API and Sage 300 CRE through exports and reports, so the draw readiness agent can compare billed amounts to job cost.
Which agent should a specialty sub start with?
Subs often start with the PCO capture agent, since unbilled extra work is the most direct margin leak, or the ITB triage agent if bid volume is the bottleneck.
Find the agent that pays for itself first
Take the 2-minute AI audit to see which construction agent would catch the most on your active jobs.
- Choose the trail that hurts
We look at missed PCOs, late draws and stale RFIs on your active jobs and pick the one agent that would have caught the most.
- Feed it your real documents
The agent is set up with your contract templates, cost codes, sub list and form library so it checks against your rules, not general ones.
- Suggest-only for a month
It drafts and flags while the PM or project accountant does the work. Every disagreement is reviewed and the agent is corrected.
- Approve, then add the next agent
Once its drafts are right, the approver clicks instead of retyping. We monitor it monthly and add the next agent when you are ready.
